This is Bella - and she has quite the story to tell. Bella was found wedged in a ditch by a good Samaritan passing by. If it would not have been for the good Samaritans dog, we don't know how long it would have taken for someone to find Bella. This sweet dog was probably in this ditch for days, it took 2 people and about an hour to get her out of the ditch. Her back legs did not work so well and she needed a lot of help to get on her feet. She was nursed back to help in weeks and posters were everywhere looking for her owners. Her owners were not found. Bella is now happy, healthy and able to get around. UAAF made her a promise that she would not have to worry about being mistreated or the feeling of not being loved any longer. Bella is shy and it will take time for her to warm up. She needs a quiet home with out a lot of activity. She loves the company of other dogs and she seems to come out of her shell when another canine is around. She seems house trained to a dog door, she loves short walks and following her human around. Bella likes car rides, but she does need help getting in the car. Bella is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and she is also micro chipped. She just had a dental and a senior wellness panel of bloodwork done.
